What are the benefits of a detox?

First of all, there are benefits for our body. Purify our liver (especially after raclettes, chocolate and other foods we like during winter), purify our kidneys, but also our skin. This will give you energy, but also a feeling of lightness, while having found a fresh complexion.

How to do a detox?

Raw/cooked vegetables at every meal. Artichokes, broccoli, asparagus, leeks

A very low protein intake: if you can't do without animal proteins, prefer lean meats like chicken. The ideal is vegetable proteins: chickpeas, red beans, quinoa... 

Fruits: banana, raspberries, pomegranate, lemon, kiwi

Oilseeds: almonds, walnuts, cashews

During this period, you should adopt a moderate pace of life, and a low intensity physical activity such as walking.

Finally, you can boost your detox with a food supplement. Some are targeted (liver, kidneys), others are more general.

After the cure?

It's time to rebuild your intestinal flora and to start a diet, if you wish, in order to have the summer body in a few weeks!
