The second hair product, after the hair has been properly shampooed, is conditioner. Conditioners do what shampoo can't: they moisturise, detangle and volumise the hair, giving it a healthy, shiny appearance. But like shampoo, conditioners should be chosen according to your hair and scalp type. The wrong conditioner can make your hair heavy, dry or brittle. 

You should also pay attention to the ingredients in the conditioner. A conditioner that contains natural extracts is better for your hair, as it gives it the nutrients it needs and makes it feel soft. 

Choose a product with spirulina and plankton extracts, as these ingredients are known for their powerful moisturising properties. Soy protein and shea butter are also found in some conditioners. This mixture is ideal for strengthening your hair and making it more elastic at the same time. With a special combination of detangling agents, you will get soft and intensely shiny hair. 

Panthenol is another important ingredient that your moisturiser should contain. Panthenol will penetrate deep into the hair and give it volume, while repairing damaged layers of the cuticle. This is especially important if you regularly use a hair dryer and hair straightener. The addition of tea tree oil, peppermint oil and lavender oil to some conditioners creates an amazing scent that you will smell in your hair long after you have washed it. 

For naturally dry hair, you should try a conditioner enriched with aloe, echinacea and blackcurrant extract. This mixture moisturises dry hair while protecting it from heat and UV rays. Macadamia is also a popular ingredient found in conditioners. Conditioners containing macadamia are recommended for extremely damaged and chemically treated hair, as the cold-pressed Australian macadamia oil nourishes and conditions the scalp and hair.
